# Wherewise > What is near any UK postcode: schools and their Ofsted grades, nurseries, GPs, > transport, shops, parks, reported crime and house prices, from open government > and OpenStreetMap data. One static page per postcode; no accounts, no tracking. Distances are walking routes over the OpenStreetMap footpath network unless a page says otherwise. Ratings are always shown in words: Ofsted's older grades run 1 (Outstanding) to 4 and food hygiene 0 to 5 (Very good), opposite ways round. House prices are open-market sales only, England and Wales. Crime locations are approximate by design: the police publish each report at a point on or near a street, never at an address. ## Pages - [A postcode](https://www.wherewise.co.uk/postcode/br1/br1-3rh/): `/postcode///`, e.g. BR1 3RH is `/postcode/br1/br1-3rh/`.
